Objectives
  • Carry out induction orientation for new faculty and staff members for adapting to the organization work culture.
  • Carry out year round need based orientation for faculty and staff members on regular intervals to tackle academic and academic support issues.
  • Continuously strive for improvement of operations and systems of SUC through ongoing feedback and open communication.
  • Encourage faculty members to conduct services activities.
  • To provide opportunities of freedom to express.
  • Organize activities for improving faculty & staff interpersonal communication.
  • Ongoing appreciation for exceptional performance and feedback for any gap in performance.
  • To evaluate faculty as per FES system.
  • To evaluate staff as per SES system
  • Conduct online staff polling
  • Ensure non-discriminatory work environment by implementing polices and providing equal opportunities to all employees.
  • Resolve discriminatory and work related issues by means of established grievance procedure.
  • Ensure maintenance of Faculty diversity ratio is maintained as per the guidelines.
  • To maintain Faculty to student ratio as per policy and guidelines.
  • Ensure recruitment of faculty members with appropriate credentials.
  • Ensure that faculty members teaching load is in compliance with institutional policies & guidelines.
  • Encourage faculty members to conduct research activities, participation in conference, seminar and workshop to keep them abreast with the current business practices.
  • Encourage faculty members development through industry exposure.
  • To evaluate & identify faculty performance gaps.
  • To conduct faculty & staff development programs.
  • To identify Faculty & Staff recruitments requirements.
  • To evaluate cost of recruitment and placement.
  • Conduct training need analysis.
  • Conduct employment need analysis.
  • Follow set standard recruitment procedure.
  • To employ faculty based on the nationality and cultural mix of students.
  • Ensure the updates and maintenance of faculty & staff qualification records.
  • Ensure Full Time & Part Time faculty ratio is maintained.
  • Ensure the faculty grade records are maintained to offer appropriate avenue for promotions.
  • Identify the resource person (Internal/ External) from different fields of expertise.
  • Review the participants feedback for future planning and conduct.
