To plan, develop, procure and maintain adequate library resources for smooth operation as per SUC's strategic plan.
To provide a learning environment conducive to academic needs along with regular updating of learning resources.
To orient the students, faculty and staff with regards to the usage of library resources and use of new technology in Library.
To disseminate relevant and updated information to faculty, students and staff.
To provide users with prompt offline and online services.
To conduct regular LRDC activities, maintain records and report.

Enrolled students can apply for registration as Library members, by paying the deposit (Refundable) specified at the time of registration.
Borrowing or loan facility is only provided to registered members.
The Library Membership is non-transferable. None of the members should provide their membership cards or accounts to another member or non-members.
The library also provides alumni membership to all its alumni at an annual membership of AED 250/=only. The library provides all its services to the members.

Silence should be maintained in the Library.
Cell phones should be switched off or kept in the silent mode with in Library premises.
Possession of Library ID Card is mandatory.
If a book is lost, borrower is responsible to replace the book or pay latest market price. If the title is out of print, cost has to be paid as per Library norms.
Books should be returned/renewed on time, failing to do so will invite a penalty of AED 1/- per day per book.
Food and Drinks are prohibited inside the Library premises.
Violations of Library rules can lead to hefty fines / debarred from Library.
Playing games, downloading games, software, music /video files is strictly prohibited in the electronic library area.
The computers in Library are meant for Online Library search only and students are advised not to use them for their assignments and for any other purpose.
