Business Plan Competition

The student Entrepreneurship club's very first initiative is to give skyline students an opportunity to secure a micro finance fund from the University of Amount up to AED 100,000 for their best business plan. For this The Center is pleased to announce a "First Micro Business Plan Competition". The Student Entrepreneurship club will shortly launch the promotion campaign for this event to ensure interested students must participate and present their business idea and the plan. Please note the competition is open to SU students only.

The Competition Overview
We, at the Skyline University, believe that, there are students out there with great business startup ideas. The ideas however, need to be listened and encouraged by the industry experts and professionals. The Skyline Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation now is fulfilling the dreams of young entrepreneur's ideas and turning them into commercially viable business proposals to invest in.

Every successful business starts with five key elements: a great idea; a very well researched business plan; a dedicated team with entrepreneurial sprit and skills; sufficient funding; and a motivation to succeed. At this point you may have the great idea and the motivation to succeed - we'll provide the tools to translate your good idea into a business plan and if we believe that your plan has what it takes, we'll provide the final two elements, an expert start-up support team, and the funding.

The successful student(s) will become engaged with Skyline Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and will be nurtured and mentored throughout the business start-up phase by an experienced team from the center and professionals from the industry. When the business takes off, the successful student(s) will hold the CEO position and an agreed structured shareholding in the firm.

The Competition Stages
  1. Submit your idea : Sign-up and complete our initial Business Idea application form.
  2. First panel selection : The panel will select the best ideas and teach you how to create a proper business plan through a series of workshops and one-on-one mentoring sessions.
  3. Submit your Business Plan : Once you have a suitable business plan ready, you can submit it.
