Purpose of the Club
The aim of the Media, Press & Social Networking Club is to provide channels of communication amongst Students. It aims to foster the recognition of the rights and responsibilities of students to the community and the University College.

Events Brief
- Elections of club president, secretary, SN (social networking) expert, Media and Public relations expert, College RJ team (3 RJ's for each semester)
- All year around work on University College magazine- Newsline (propose to change the name of the magazine to a much more student friendly one)
- Co-ordination with Art & photography club to retrieve images/artwork for the magazine
- Mass coverage and support during Carnival
- Establishment of a team of College RJs for constant announcements
- Collect contact of all Media, Press bodies in UAE. An excel sheet is formed
- Work towards the Carnival begins
- Letters of invitation are drafted for Media, PR companies
- Pre and post event press- releases are made
- Skyline Carnival album is created on Skyline university FB page
- Work in progress pictures are uploaded by SN expert
- Judges for various events are contacted
- Letter of invitation for the judging panel are formed
- Posters promoting the various events are made for in-house publicity
- Poster pictures are uploaded on Skyline FB page- contact Art & Photography club photographer student for anything related to photographs
- Various universities are contacted and word regarding Carnival is spread- students work with Marketing team
- Brochure for events is made- stating name of the competition, rules, deadline for submission of participation are decided, participation forms are created, a student is picked who will be compiling outside university data, a student is picked who will be compiling Skyline participation data.
